After the end of a meaningful relationship, I have decided to come back to my home country. That place, that had been raising me for more than twenty years, and that I had always considered a safe haven seemed transformed and very hard to deal with. In an attempt of re-appropriation, I choose to investigate and to record the darkest hours of its nights. I’ve been walking paws through streets, field and houses feeling myself like caught in a sort of crime scene. By the use of a little flash I tried to freeze any useful detail of those sceneries. Even on the film the territory seemed obscure, hostile, deconstructed and no longer friendly. So I questioned myself: “Who is the one who changed? Is it your home or yourself?”
