Breizh Scenario

by Jean-François Flamey

Fantasized moments, incomplete or scrambled messages manifest themselves in my images as they do in our dreams or hypnagogic states. The whole reveals a deconstruction of the evidences and things left unsaid (non-dits in French).
My intention here is to carry the beholder to a world he creates from his own imagination.
As Blaise Pascal pointed out, “imagination decides everything”.
I start from the premise that if my eyes are not troubled, the eyes of the beholder cannot be troubled. Towards this idea, darkness, fog and night plunge me into favorable contexts in relation to my desire to create images. These few pictures taken in Brittany show what I am looking for.
