A Weak Road & Spotting Zone

by Liu Tao

Situated on the border between photography and performance, Liu Tao’s series reflect upon his conceptions of freedom and introspection.

Liu Tao rethinks street photography and self-portraiture by imprinting his naked body in the landscape. “We get dressed to hide that we are as fragile as dust. When you undress, you reconnect with nature, and you realize that the whole world is nothing but dust,” he says.
